What an ACBuy order costs
The product price is rarely the whole story. This page lists every charge ACBuy publishes, explains why the shipping payment is a deposit rather than a price, and calculates the part that is knowable before you reach the estimator.

The bill
Every line ACBuy charges, and who sets it
ACBuy publishes its charges as a list rather than as a percentage, which makes the total easier to predict than it first looks. The only line nobody can pin down in advance is basic international freight, because it depends on the box you end up with.
| Line | Amount or rule | Where it comes from |
|---|---|---|
| Product price | seller sets it | The marketplace listing |
| Domestic shipping | seller sets it | Seller to ACBuy warehouse, often free |
| Agent service fee, regular platforms | none | Taobao, Tmall, 1688, JD |
| Agent service fee, special platforms | 10 CNY per item | Xianyu, Paipai, Zhuanzhuan, Douyin, Xiaohongshu, Youzan |
| Basic international freight | by actual or volumetric weight | Route and destination |
| Customs clearance fee | 10 to 30 CNY | Included in the international deposit |
| Warehouse handling fee | 8 CNY | Included in the international deposit |
| Value-added services | optional | Bubble wrap, vacuum bag, reinforcement, insurance |
| Extended storage | paid service | Only if you pass the free 90 days |

Work out what is knowable before you reach the estimator
This adds up the parts that are fixed and published, and refuses to guess the part that is not. For real freight numbers use ACBuy's own shipping estimator, which asks for destination, weight and size.
Planning model using the policy recorded on 3 August 2026. Confirm current fees, storage deadlines and route rules in your account. This result does not establish present eligibility or a shipping quote.

The international payment is a deposit, not a price
When you submit a parcel you pay an estimate based on predicted weight, volume, destination and route. That estimate already contains the customs clearance fee, the warehouse handling fee and any value-added services you selected.
After packing, ACBuy weighs and measures the real box and recalculates. If the real cost is lower than the deposit you are refunded the difference. If it is higher you pay the shortfall before the parcel leaves. This is why the packing decisions on the shipping page change what you pay.
How you actually pay
ACBuy's checkout offers its own wallet balance plus card and wallet methods. The official screenshot shows credit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, PayU, blik, Skrill and Trustly, with a handling fee of USD 0.00 on the method captured.
Two practical notes. Topping the wallet up first makes repeat orders faster, since the purchase step then takes one click. And payment method fees are a thing that changes, so read the fee line on the checkout screen rather than trusting any guide, including this one.

Cost questions people ask first
Is there really no commission?
On regular shopping platforms, ACBuy's fee page states no service fee beyond the product price and domestic shipping. On the listed special platforms there is a 10 CNY per item fee. That is what the operator publishes, checked 2026-08-03.
What is the warehouse handling fee for?
It is a flat 8 CNY on the parcel, listed by ACBuy as part of international shipping alongside the customs clearance fee of 10 to 30 CNY.
Why does my quote change after packing?
Because the first number is a deposit based on estimated weight and volume, and the second is calculated from the box that actually exists. See the deposit section above.

The unlisted line
The exchange rate is a cost, even though no invoice shows it
Your order is priced in yuan. Your card is not. Somewhere between the two a rate gets applied, and whatever margin sits inside that rate is money you paid without ever seeing a line for it. It is not in the service fee, not in the domestic delivery fee and not in the freight quote, which is exactly why it disappears when people compare agents on headline percentages.
The conversion happens when you put money in, not when you check out. ACBuy's own page names Visa, Mastercard and Discover for international cards, and lists local methods including Apple Pay, Google Pay, iDEAL, PayU, BLiK, Skrill, Trustly, Bancomatpay, Bancontact, EPS and Pix. The same page says funds normally credit instantly, and that in special cases crediting can take one to five business days.
Two practical consequences. Read the rate at the moment you top up, not when you are browsing, because the figure you saw while browsing is not the one you will be charged. And if a top-up is sitting uncredited, check the date before assuming something has gone wrong: the published window runs to five business days. No rate is printed on this page on purpose: one read this morning is already wrong by the time your card statement catches up.
